Hinchinbrook Island is Australia's largest island National Park. It approximately half way between Cairns and Townsville. It is a large mountainous island with abundant unspoilt flora and fauna. It has beautiful beaches, mangrove areas and the all important flats areas of prime interest for fly fishing. |

The main target of interest here is the Australian permit. However a variety of Australin tropical species can also be caught. The area fishes well all year. |
